Recent Interests

Professor Zoey Yiyuan Zhou's research interests lie at the intersection of finance and sustainability. Her focus is on exploring how sustainable finance and impact investing can be utilized to create a more sustainable world. In particular, she investigates how firms can incorporate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations into their decision-making processes to enhance their competitiveness while addressing global challenges such as climate change, inequality, and public health. In addition, her research investigates the potential of financial innovation to improve access to finance and promote inclusion and sustainability.
