Biography

Ms Elaine Lo brings to her position of Communication Tutor more than a decade of experience in corporate communications, marketing communications, public relations and corporate social responsibility. In her role with the Division of Environment and Sustainability, Ms Lo designs workshops and activities that sharpen students’ written and verbal communication skills, helping them break through possible communication hurdles to pursuing careers in a wide range of industries and sectors.

Ms Lo is concurrently the Director of Zing Communications, a boutique communication consultancy she founded in 2014 which now helps Mattel, Jebsen, Esquel, HKUST, China Unicom, Cathay Pacific Services, and other industry-leading organizations develop and translate business content.

Previously, Ms Lo held senior communication positions at Google and FedEx Express Asia Pacific, where she received several awards for her design and leadership of regional communication campaigns.

Ms Lo holds a Master of Social Science in Corporate Communications from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Emory University, USA. Ms Lo is a native speaker of English and Cantonese. She is fluent in Putonghua and has a basic knowledge of French.
