HKUST ENVR Welcomes Nanjing University for an Exchange Visit

HKUST Division of Environment and Sustainability (ENVR) warmly welcomed Prof. Ning ZHANG along with a group of faculty and Year 3 undergraduate students from the School of Atmospheric Science, Nanjing University on 13 August 2025. This visit sparked valuable conversations and exchanges around undergraduate studies and research in climate science, air quality, green finance, and sustainability.

Our ENVR faculty shared an overview of the Division’s research projects and interdisciplinary study programs, while Ekko CHU and Shelly ZHOU, our undergraduate and postgraduate students, shared their academic journeys and vibrant experiences at HKUST.

A representative student from Nanjing University introduced us the School of Atmospheric Science at NJU

The visitors then explored more on the Sustainable Smart Campus as a Living Lab, they also toured the VOC lab and the supersite, getting a firsthand look at some of our research facilities.
