Students Visiting the T-Park

On 27 March 2024, a group of EVMT and MSc EVSM students in the Division of Environment and Sustainability visited the T-Park at Nim Wan, Tuen Mun.  This visit shows the state-of-art in turning Waste-To-Energy technology, viz. sludge to electrical power, in Hong Kong. The docent shared clearly the science, technologies, facilities, management practice and quality control with exhibits and displays to the students. The visit is an experiential one and students are more aware of the waste management policy and practices in Hong Kong; and how environmental facilities can blend with the natural environment and public education.
