ENVR Study Trip 2024: Sustainable Community Development for Green Community Management and Technologies in Chiang Mai, Thailand

A group of 27 BSc in EVMT and MSc in EVSM students recently participated in a study trip to Chiang Mai, Thailand from 8 to 13 January. The trip focused on the theme of Sustainable Community Development for Green Community Management and Technologies.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the Asian Development College for Community Economy and Technology (adiCET) and Chiang Mai Rajabhat University (CMRU) for their hospitality and logistical support. During the trip, students had the opportunity to engage with various community groups and gain insight into their needs. They also learned about the positive impacts that adiCET and CMRU are making in improving community livelihoods through environmental integrative and conservation approaches. Additionally, students learned about connecting businesses and corporations with communities through CSR initiatives.

Overall, the study trip was a valuable experience for our students, providing them with a deeper understanding of sustainable community development and the role of green community management and technologies. We look forward to more opportunities for our students to engage in such impactful experiences in the future.
